Most employment contracts will have some “restraint” or “non-compete” clause, but this will depend on what you did for your old employer, and what you plan to do in the future. Not all restraint clauses are enforceable even if they are written in an employment contract. The answer will depend on the particular clause of your contract, and your particular situation.
